Itachi's Mangekyō Sharingan

Shisui's death had a profound impact on Itachi Uchiha, his close friend. After witnessing Shisui's suicide, Itachi awakened his Mangekyō Sharingan, a powerful form of the Sharingan with unique abilities.

Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Sasuke Uchiha, Itachi's younger brother, later received Itachi's eyes through a transplant. This bestowed upon him the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, which eliminates the crippling effects of the regular Mangekyō Sharingan.

Shisui and Itachi's Bond

Shisui and Itachi shared a deep bond of friendship. Itachi learned many techniques from Shisui, including the Body Flicker Technique. Itachi's abilities eventually surpassed those of his friend, but he always held Shisui in high regard.
