Grand Jury Evidence Unsealed Trial Scheduled For 2024

BREAKING: Duane Davis Pleads Not Guilty in Tupac Shakur Murder Trial

Grand Jury Evidence Unsealed, Trial Scheduled for 2024

Las Vegas, NV - March 8, 2023

Duane Keith Davis, the former Compton gang leader known as Keffe, has pleaded not guilty to charges in the 1996 murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. The indictment, which came after grand jury evidence was unsealed, alleges that Davis was involved in the drive-by shooting that killed Shakur.

According to the indictment, Davis and other suspects were in a white Cadillac when they pulled up alongside Shakur's car and fired multiple shots. Shakur, who was riding in a car with Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, was hit several times and died six days later.

The trial is scheduled to begin on June 3, 2024. Davis remains in custody without bail.

The arrest and indictment of Davis have brought renewed attention to Shakur's unsolved murder, which has been shrouded in mystery for decades. The grand jury evidence is expected to shed light on the case and potentially identify other suspects.

Shakur, who was known for his lyrics about social injustice and violence, was one of the most successful and influential rappers of all time. His death at the age of 25 sent shockwaves through the music world and beyond.
